Thoughts, Musings and Writings

My life has been one of both hardship and comfort, demoralization and fulfillment, searching and finding, and uncertainty and hope.I have learned to embrace life’s trials the same way I welcome its joys: both have the capacity to instruct us. To bring us new levels of appreciation, to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us, and to drive us to become our best selves.

Now that I am nearing the completion of my life, I want  to share the wisdom that I acquired with the guidance of great minds. How to apply this wisdom and to make it work for others in order to have the peacefulness of  a fully lived  and appreciated life.

New Beginnings

In my next book I want to pass on the lessons I have learned with the guidance of great minds.

How I apply this wisdom to my daily life and make it work. I am blessed to have gone through almost all stages of my life.

Life becomes more and more fascinating to me.Nothing really changes just the way I see it.

My book is about the aging process and how to find strength in aging. It is a chronicle of the challenges that my husband the love of my life for 56 years and I are facing with his serious illnesses. How we deal with this crisis with as much positivity and hope as possible.

My mission is to spread hope and see the beauty of aging.

To find strength joy and the meaning of life.

From Rubble To Champagne

After having published my first book From Rubble To Champagne which depicts my life story. I was born 1943 in Berlin in the epicenter of Nazi Germany.

I endured intense physical, emotional, political oppression and struggles in the most visceral ways since the day I was born. Many would say that I experienced more trauma before the age of fourteen than many will in their lifetimes.

I have overcome many challenges and succeeded to have the peacefulness of a truly loved and appreciated life. Many philosophers, poets and scientist equate this as beauty.

Once again  I am being challenged and tested.  Since life is not static , it will change even if we don‘t want it to change.
Over the years I studied the philosophies  of great minds and poets. They helped me make sense of the world and through their wisdom I am able to cope in flexible ways with the  challenges that life throws my way.

These great minds passed on the wisdom to us and give us a chance to actively apply these teachings in the present circumstances.
In my upcoming book  : Lessons Learned an passed on. I am sharing my life experiences and the wisdom that evolved with the guidance of the wisdom of these great minds and my gratitude toward them.

My gems are:
-Show empathy
– continue to believe that greater is coming
-be ready to move onto something greater
– tap into your support system
– do what is necessary

My mission is to help those that struggle and feel defeated.

My upcoming book is about aging well instead of just getting old. How we view ourselves during the aging process defines how we age.
My way of dealing with my husbands serious illness and find meaning in the process.

As I go through this difficult time with uncertainty I find solace in writing  and in doing so I hope to make a positive difference.
